Time Meets Island
As the first Minnan (southern Fujian Province) fantasy-themed park in China, the project is dedicated to creating a “global window to Minnan culture”.The project features five themed zones: Ancient Mountains and Seas, Minnan Fantasy Realm, Echoes of Gulangyu, Coastal Radiance, and Cruise Time. Phase I, including Ancient Mountains and Seas and Minnan Fantasy Realm, has officially opened to the public. The project delivers a fully immersive cultural experience through four themed time-space narratives, three performance zones, eight cultural streets, over 100 live performances, and more than 80 showcases of intangible cultural heritage.By innovatively introducing the concepts of “folded time and space” and “revitalization of intangible cultural heritage,” the project adopts a co-creation model and pioneers new approaches to repurposing existing assets, serving as a compelling example of urban regeneration.
